Ghost House
Ghost House (Japanese: ゴーストハウス, Hepburn: Gōsuto Hausu) is a side-scrollingplatform game developed and published by Sega, released for the Master System in 1986.#cite_note-ignhistory-4)Ghost House is loosely based on Sega's 1982 arcade video game, Monster Bash. The game was originally released in the Sega Card format, then re-released on cartridge. The player controls Mick/Mickey, a young vampire hunter out to destroy five vampires (or "Draculas" as the instruction book calls them) in each stage before proceeding to the next. In later levels Draculas may re-spawn. Everything is out to stop Mick/Mickey from completing this task and making his way out of the mansion. The player has to punch or jump on enemies to defeat them. Arrows fly from either direction after Mick/Mickey passes a fireplace and will attempt to hit him, and he must either duck or jump on them for extra points and eventually gain invincibility as per the amount jumped on (25).
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is a visual noveladventure game developed and published by Capcom. It was released in 2001 for the Game Boy Advance in Japan and has been ported to multiple platforms. The 2005 Nintendo DS version, titled Gyakuten Saiban Yomigaeru Gyakuten in Japan, introduced an English language option, and was the first time the game was released in North America and Europe. It is the first entry in the Ace Attorney series; several sequels and spin-offs were produced, while this game has seen further ports and remasters for computers, game consoles, and mobile devices. The story follows Phoenix Wright, a rookiedefense attorney who attempts to have his clients declared "not guilty". Among other characters are Phoenix's boss, Mia Fey; his assistant and Mia's sister, Maya; and prosecutorMiles Edgeworth. The player controls Phoenix through two sets of sections: investigations and courtroom trials. During investigations they gather information and evidence.
David Robinson's Supreme Court
David Robinson Supreme Court (known in Japan as David Robinson Basketball (デビッド・ロビンソン バスケットボール)) is a basketball video game released by Sega exclusively for the Sega Genesis in 1992. The game was endorsed by NBA player David Robinson but does not feature an NBA license and instead features four different fictional American teams. Robinson would later be featured in Sega's NBA Action games.
Mega Man ZX
Mega Man ZX is a 2006 action-platform game developed by Inti Creates and published by Capcom for the Nintendo DS. It was released on July 6, 2006 in Japan, September 12, 2006 in North America, June 20, 2007 in Australia, and June 22, 2007 in Europe. Part of the Mega Man franchise, ZX is set two hundred years after the events of the Mega Man Zero series, and revolves around the efforts of the protagonist to recover powerful ancient artifacts called "Biometals" from the Pseudoroids, evil robots made to harness their power. The game introduces a new open-ended gameplay environment and the ability to select the protagonist's gender, a first in the series. The game received positive reviews from critics, who praised its gameplay and level design, but were divided about its high difficulty level. A sequel, Mega Man ZX Advent, was released the following year, in 2007.
Light Crusader
Light Crusader is a 1995 action-adventure game developed by Treasure and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. The game's plot follows a knight named Sir David as he attempts to rescue the kidnapped people of Greenrow. Played from an isometric perspective, the game sees the player, assuming the role of David, descending through a large dungeon by fighting enemies, solving puzzles, and traversing the environment in order to find the missing townsfolk. The final title developed by Treasure for the Genesis, the game was first announced in the spring of 1994 under the working title of Relayer. During development, the dev team sought to improve the operability and enjoyment of previous pseudo-3D titles by implementing an isometric viewpoint. However, due to programming difficulties stemming from the perspective, the game was delayed for over a year in order for the development team to fix the issues.
Haunting Starring Polterguy
Haunting Starring Polterguy is a comedy-horror video game released for the Mega Drive/Genesis by Electronic Arts in 1993. Taking control of a ghost named 'Polterguy', the player must bring various household items to life in order to frighten a family away from their home. A port for the PlayStation Portable was released in 2006 on EA Replay.
Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures
Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures, known in Japan as Hello! Pac-Man (ハロー! パックマン, Harō! Pakkuman), is a 1994 side-scrolling adventure game in the Pac-Man series developed and published by Namco. Instead of being a maze game like the majority of its predecessors, Pac-Man 2 incorporates light point-and-click adventure game elements. The game borrows its structure and certain elements from Pac-Land, and also appears to contain certain elements from the animated series, such as Pac-Man's family and a main villain commanding the ghosts. The game was released in 1994 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and was released for the Sega Genesis exclusively in the US.

Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon#cite_note-2) is a side-scrollingbeat 'em uparcadevideo game developed by Gazelle and released on March 22, 1995. It was published by Banpresto.#cite_note-CDC2-3)#cite_note-GTech9-4) It is the first game to be created by Gazelle, one of the offshoots of defunct developer Toaplan that were founded after they declared bankruptcy in 1994, and one of the few titles based upon Naoko Takeuchi's _Sailor Moon_shōjo manga and anime "Sailor Moon (TV series)") series that had an official international release, and it also has been compared with other titles in the same genre such as Capcom's Final Fight "Final Fight (video game)") and Technōs Japan's Double Dragon "Double Dragon (video game)").
Aleste
Aleste (アレスタ) is a vertically scrolling shooter developed by Compile, originally published by Sega in 1988 for the Master System and then by CP Communications "Compile (company)") for the MSX2. The Master System version was released outside Japan as Power Strike. The game spawned the Aleste and Power Strike franchises. The story of Aleste concerns the manmade supercomputer DIA 51, which has been infected by a hybrid virus that is spreading like wildfire, eventually leading DIA 51 to eliminate the human race. When Yuri, Ray's girlfriend, gets injured in DIA's assault, Raymond Waizen has all the reason in the world to get rid of DIA 51 once and for all in his Aleste fighter. The game was originally released for the Master System in February 1988. This version was released outside Japan, as Power Strike. The US release was initially a mail-only limited edition, however it did later see some retail distribution at Toys R' Us and other chains in North America.
The Lion King
The Lion King is a 1994 platform game based on Disney's 1994 animated film of the same name. It was originally developed by Westwood Studios and published by Virgin Interactive Entertainment for the Super NES and Sega Genesis, and was ported to MS-DOS, Amiga, Game Gear, Master System, and Nintendo Entertainment System; the Amiga, Master System, and NES versions were only released in the PAL region. The game follows Simba's journey from a young cub to the battle with his uncle Scar as an adult.
Metal Slug 7
Metal Slug 7 is a run and gun video game developed by SNK Playmore for the Nintendo DS. It is the seventh and final title in the main Metal Slug series. It marks the first game in the main series that would be released without an arcade version. The game was released in 2008 for Japan on July 22 and North America on November 28 by Ignition Entertainment.
Alisia Dragoon
Alisia Dragoon is a 1992 platform game developed by Game Arts and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. The player controls Alisia, a young woman who is on a quest to avenge her father and save the world. She can fire lightning from her hands and summon four faithful beasts to aid her. The game was later made available on the Sega Genesis Mini and Nintendo Classics service.
Teddy Boy
Teddy Boy Blues – Yohko Ishino (テディボーイ・ブルース / 石野陽子, Tedibōi Burūzu / Ishino Yōko) is a 1985 arcade video game made by Sega. It stars a young boy who is armed with a gun. Each level is an infinitely-repeating maze with several dice. Each die is filled with monsters which hatch out and the player must shoot to shrink, then collect them. If the player does not collect each shrunken monster quickly, it turns into a time-eating bug which flies to the time limit bar and consumes a chunk of it. If you touch one monster or run out of time then you lose a life. The game ends if all lives are lost. There are 50 distinct levels, called "rounds" in the game, even though the counter goes to 99 (the 100th level does not show). The player can play through the levels loops infinitely, with no apparent end. There are also "bonus rounds" every so often; in the Master System version, the player can shoot colored dice to reveal prizes and increase their score.
Plants vs. Zombies
The series has a variety of game genres. The original game and its sequels Plants vs. Zombies Adventures, Plants vs. Zombies 2, and Plants vs. Zombies 3 are tower defense games where the player has to use plants with different abilities to defend their home against a zombie invasion. Developed by PopCap Vancouver, the spin-off Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and its sequels are third-person shooters where the player can play as either the plants or zombies in multiplayer mode (and beginning in Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, single player) matches. Plants vs. Zombies Heroes is a digital collectable card game with characters from previous installments. ToeJam & Earl
ToeJam & Earl is a 1991 action video game developed by Johnson Voorsanger Productions and published by Sega for the Genesis console. It centers on ToeJam and Earl—alienrappers who have crash-landed on Earth—as they attempt to escape the planet, players assume the role of either character and collect pieces of their wrecked spacecraft. It references and parodies 1980s and early-'90s urban culture and is set to a funk soundtrack. ToeJam & Earl's design was heavily influenced by the role-playing video game_Rogue "Rogue (video game)") (1980) and derived various features from the game, such as the random generation of levels and items. As such, ToeJam & Earl is often considered to be an early example of a roguelike game. The game was positively received by critics, who praised its originality, soundtrack, humor and two-player cooperative mode. It attained sleeper hit status despite low initial sales, and its protagonists were used as mascots by Sega.

WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game
Shortly after the game was released, Midway executive Roger Sharpe claimed that Adam Bomb appears in the game. Many years later, developer Sal DiVita confirmed that Adam Bomb was a hidden character, but also stated that the character in the game was not fully completed. Ports were developed for Mega Drive/Genesis, 32X, Super NES, PlayStation, Sega Saturn, and MS-DOS. The Super NES release omits Bam Bam Bigelow and Yokozuna. When the maximum of three characters are on screen simultaneously, the game slows down. It also lacks several voice and commentary samples and damage taken by in-game fighters from attacks was reduced. The Genesis version retains most of the voice and commentary samples from the arcade and allows for four wrestlers on-screen, also with slow down. The 32X release is similar to the standard Genesis version, but with improved graphics and audio.
Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns
Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns is a farming simulation video game developed by Marvelous Entertainment "Marvelous (company)") for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS as part of the Story of Seasons series. It was released in North America on the Nintendo DS on September 20, 2011 and on the Nintendo 3DS on November 1, 2011 by Natsume Inc. The original release date for the Japanese version was set to February 25, 2010 but was moved to July 8, 2010. The DS version is titled as Harvest Moon DS and the 3DS version is titled as Harvest Moon 3D. New features in the game include new animals like Alpacas and Honey Bees and a Pickle Pot that can be used to make pickled turnips. An enhanced 3DS version titled Bokujō Monogatari: Futago no Mura+ was released in Japan on December 14, 2017. It included access to StreetPass and better controls.
Ys: The Vanished Omens
Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished, also known as Ys: Ancient Ys Vanished - Omen, Ys: The Vanished Omens, Ancient Land of Ys or simply Ys (Japanese title: イース), is a 1987 action role-playing game developed by Nihon Falcom. It is the first installment in the Ys series. Initially developed for the PC-88 by Masaya Hashimoto (director, programmer, designer) and Tomoyoshi Miyazaki (scenario writer), the game was soon ported to the Sharp X1, PC-98, FM-7, and MSX2 Japanese computer systems. Set in a land called Esteria, the story centers around the titular civilization called Ys, which had mysteriously vanished 700 years ago with only traces of its existence being kept within the game's six books. When it is prophesied that an impeding darkness would come to threaten Esteria, a young and adventurous warrior named Adol Christin is called forward to collect these six books to aid him in vanquishing the darkness.
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is a 2009 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar Leeds in conjunction with Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. The game was released for the Nintendo DS in March 2009, PlayStation Portable in October 2009, iOS in January 2010, and Android and Fire OS devices in December 2014. It is the thirteenth game in the Grand Theft Auto series and a follow-up to Grand Theft Auto IV, and is the first entry to be released for handheld consoles since 2006's Vice City Stories. Set within modern-day Liberty City (a fictional satire of New York City), the single-player story follows young Triad member Huang Lee and his efforts to recover a sword gifted by his late father after it is stolen from him, while inadvertently becoming caught in a power struggle amongst Liberty City's Triads.

Phantasy Star II is a science fantasy role-playing video game developed and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis. It was released in Japan in 1989 and North America and Europe in 1990. It was later ported to a variety of different platforms. An updated remake, Phantasy Star Generation 2, was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2005 in Japan. Phantasy Star II is the second installment in Sega's acclaimed Phantasy Star series and serves as a sequel to the original Phantasy Star for the Master System. Phantasy Star II takes place 1,000 years after the events of its predecessor and follows the journey of a government agent named Rolf and his friends, who are on a mission to discover why the protector of the planet Mota, Mother Brain, has started malfunctioning. Phantasy Star II was the first video game to use a 6 mega-bit cartridge, making it the biggest video game on a console at the time. Since its release Phantasy Star II has been the subject of critical acclaim.
Phantasy Star
Phantasy Star#cite_note-8) is a 1987 role-playing video game (RPG) developed and published by Sega for the Master System. One of the earliest Japanese RPGs for consoles, it tells the story of Alis on her journey to defeat the evil ruler of her star system, King Lassic, after her brother dies at his hands. She traverses between planets, gathering a party of fighters and collecting the items she needs to avenge her brother's death and return peace to the star system. The gameplay features traditional Japanese RPG elements including random encounters and experience points. All the characters have predefined personalities and abilities, a unique element compared to the customizable characters of other RPGs of the era. Sega launched the development of Phantasy Star so their Master System could compete with the burgeoning popularity of console RPGs, particularly Dragon Quest "Dragon Quest (video game)") (1986) on the Famicom.
